The reducing agent is sufficient and the particle size meets the requirements.
3. Ensure a suitable electrode working length, ranging from 1700 to 2000mm.
4. Ensure a sufficiently high furnace entry rate, pay attention to the change of the primary voltage, and when the primary voltage decreases, the secondary voltage should be increased by one level in time.
The charge of the closed Manganese-silicon alloy submerged arc furnace is automatically discharged into the furnace through the discharge pipe, and the charge bin is usually kept full. The Mn content in the slag is controlled to be less than 8%.
When the tap hole is blocked by the electrode, it hinders the slag discharge. At the same time, the slag basicity is appropriately increased, which is conducive to slag discharge.

Abnormal furnace conditions must be fully observed and analyzed, the raw materials must be identified, and measures must be taken.
When the slag basicity is low, the slag is sticky, the slag is difficult to discharge, the slag is bubbling at the furnace mouth, the ore furnace fluctuates, and the residual manganese in the slag is high. At this time, measures should be taken to appropriately increase the basicity.
When the basicity is too high, the slag is thin, the slag iron flow is large, the electrode is lifted, the time is long, and the high temperature zone is reduced.
The alloy contains low Si, and the slag basicity should be reduced at this time.
When the amount of coke is too large, the electrode is lifted, the working end moves up, and the root pierces the fire. At this time, the amount of coke in the material ratio should be appropriate.
When the amount of coke is insufficient, the electrode is inserted downward, sometimes the current is not full, and the material is often trampled. The manganese in the slag is high, and carbon addition treatment should be done at this time.
When the amount of silica is too much, the slag basicity is low, the slag is sticky, the slag discharge is not smooth, the alloy Si content is low for a long time, the water-quenched slag turns white, and the electrode sometimes cannot provide the load. At this time, according to the situation, silica reduction and coke increase treatment should be done.
When the power of the closed Manganese-silicon alloy submerged arc furnace is insufficient for a long time, the furnace temperature decreases. Although the electrode is not long, it still remains high for a long time, and the iron output is significantly reduced. At this time, the first-level voltage should be increased, and at the same time, the material ratio should be slightly reduced. of char.
The causes of fire in closed Manganese-silicon alloy submerged arc furnaces are poor sealing, water leakage in the furnace, high humidity of the furnace material, a lot of powder, and blockage of the flue.
