Electrode Arm for Arc Furnaces is made of copper-steel composite plate or aluminum-steel composite plate, with a rectangular cross-section and water cooling inside. It eliminates the many insulation links between the water-cooled conductive copper tube, electrode chuck and cross arm, greatly simplifying the cross arm structure. It is a new type of conductive cross arm on ultra-high power arc furnace.

Features of copper-steel composite conductive cross arm

1. The clamping force of the electrode clamping mechanism is large, and there is good electrical contact between the electrode and the copper chuck.

2. The electrode center circle is small, which not only reduces the inductive voltage drop on the electrode, but also reduces the erosion of refractory materials.

3. Reliable insulation layers are set at appropriate locations to prevent current dispersion and gap arc generation, so that parts will not be heated and damaged.
