At present, most small workshops, laboratories, research institutes, and school-run factories do not have a dedicated high-voltage power grid. Even if they have a high-voltage power grid (or low-voltage power grid), the capacity is not large, which makes the AC electric arc furnace unusable.
In response to this situation, our company has developed and produced a small DC electric arc furnace (submerged arc furnace), which has solved many problems such as hardware upgrades, harmonic compensation, and transformer capacity increase for many small and medium-sized enterprises and research institutes.
The DC electric arc furnace (submerged arc furnace) adopts a furnace cover that can be opened and top-loaded, and has the functions of arc heating and adjusting composition under normal pressure.
It has the characteristics of small equipment footprint, convenient operation, good stability of the electric arc furnace, high smelting temperature, no impact on the power grid, and high power factor.
It is suitable for smelting rare earth materials, precious metals (palladium, platinum, gold, silver, etc.), non-ferrous metals (copper, nickel, lead, etc.), ferroalloys (nickel iron, manganese iron, chromium iron, silicon iron), alloy steel, high titanium slag, refractory materials, metal waste slag, waste mud, smelting and extraction of electronic waste, ceramic materials, development and trial production of new materials, small-scale production, etc.
