This operating procedure is designed to ensure the safety, efficiency, and quality of melting operations in medium-frequency induction furnaces, and to standardize the behavioral norms of operating personnel. It is applicable to enterprises that utilize medium-frequency induction furnaces for metal melting.
1. Operators must wear personal protective equipment such as protective clothing, helmets, safety goggles, and gloves. It is strictly prohibited to wear loose clothing.
2. Prior to operation, it is imperative to inspect the operational status of the medium frequency induction furnace, encompassing the power supply, cooling system, etc., to ensure the normal functioning of the equipment.
3. Prior to operation, one must be familiar with the control system and operational interface of the medium frequency induction furnace to ensure accurate operation.
Operators must undergo relevant training to become familiar with the smelting operation procedures and emergency response protocols, ensuring they can respond appropriately in case of emergencies.
(1) Inspect the cooling system and power supply of the medium-frequency induction furnace to ensure their normal operation.
(2) Prepare the metallic materials to be melted and place them into the melting vessel as per the specified requirements.
(1) Confirm the flow rate and temperature of the cooling water to ensure they are within the specified range.
(2) Successively activate the main power supply, induction power supply, and water cooler of the medium frequency induction furnace to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
(3) Preheat the furnace and adjust the temperature to below the melting point.
(1) Place the preheated furnace into the melting machine and close the furnace door.
(2) Set the temperature, power, and holding time of the furnace in accordance with the requirements of the melting process.
(3) Initiate the furnace and gradually elevate the temperature above the melting point for melting.
(4) Monitor the melting process and make adjustments as necessary.
(1) After the smelting process is completed, the furnace should be removed from the smelting machine and cleaned and maintained after cooling to a safe temperature.
(2) Shut down the power supply of the medium-frequency induction furnace, cease the supply of cooling water, and restore the equipment to a standstill condition.
During the smelting process, it is strictly prohibited for operators to leave their designated posts, and it is imperative to constantly monitor the operational status of the equipment.
2. It is prohibited to place ferromagnetic materials within the induction coil to prevent overheating of the induction coil.
3. The furnace body must be free of impurities with high moisture content or excessive humidity to prevent electrolyte reactions or gas explosions.
4. In the event of excessive temperature in the induction coil, immediate shutdown and fault inspection are imperative to prevent the occurrence of a fire hazard.
5. Excessive metallic materials must not be present within the furnace to prevent overflow and subsequent safety incidents.
In the event of equipment malfunction or other emergency situations, operators should immediately shut down the machinery and proceed in accordance with the emergency response procedures.
2. During the fault handling process, it is imperative to maintain composure and composure, bearing in mind that unauthorized operations must not be undertaken.
3. When necessary, one may report to relevant technical personnel or superiors and await guidance and support from professionals.
1. Prior to each operation, an operational record must be completed, encompassing the operational details of various stages such as startup preparation, furnace initiation, commencement of melting, and conclusion of melting.
2. Regular inspections and maintenance of the medium-frequency induction furnace are conducted to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
3. Upon discovering anomalies or issues, prompt reporting is imperative, followed by the implementation of appropriate measures.
Modifications and supplements to this operating procedure must be approved by the relevant departments and subject to corresponding training and publicity. Any unauthorized actions and modifications are considered non-compliant operations and will bear the corresponding responsibilities.
The aforementioned is the operating procedure for melting in medium-frequency induction furnaces, designed to standardize the behavioral norms of operators and ensure the safety, efficiency, and quality of melting operations. Operators must strictly adhere to the operating procedures and continuously monitor the operation of the equipment to ensure the smooth progress of the melting process.
