The 2×39MVA Ferrosilicon DC Submerged Arc Furnaces refers to a smelting equipment composed of two DC SAF with a capacity of 39MVA, which is mainly used to produce ferrosilicon and other ferroalloys.

Furnace Body: Its composed of furnace shell, furnace lining, electrodes and other parts. The furnace shell is made of high-quality steel, the furnace lining is made of carbonaceous material or refractory material, and the electrodes are usually graphite electrodes or self-baking electrodes.
Power Supply System: It includes rectifier transformers, rectifiers and other equipment, which are used to convert AC power into DC power for use in ore furnaces.
Cooling System: Its used to cool the electrodes, furnace shell and other parts to prevent overheating damage. Water cooling is usually used.

Scope of Supply of Industrial Ferrosilicon Furnace
Furnace body of submerged arc furnace: furnace body rotating mechanism, furnace bottom, furnace shell, tapping hole, etc.;

Ferrosilicon DC Submerged Arc Furnace Smelting Process

Raw material preparation: Mix ore, reducing agent (such as coke), solvent and other raw materials in a certain proportion.

Charging: Load the mixed raw materials into the submerged arc furnace.

Electric smelting: Start the power supply system, introduce the DC power supply into the furnace bottom electrode, form an arc, and use the high temperature of the arc to melt the ore. At the same time, the smelting process is controlled by adjusting parameters such as current and voltage.

Iron alloy discharge: When the smelting reaches a certain level, open the iron outlet and release the molten ferroalloy.

Flue gas treatment: The flue gas generated during the smelting process is sent to the flue gas treatment system for treatment.
Sanrui Ferrosilicon DC Ore-fired Furnace Technology Optimization
The ore-fired electric furnace adopts a semi-enclosed type, a copper tile pressure ring electrode holder, ventilation cooling at the bottom of the electric furnace, a rotating furnace body, furnace body temperature measurement, and a transformer with a long-term overload capacity of 20%. The short network system, copper tiles, and incoming cables all have a long-term overload capacity of more than 20%.
Reliable insulation is set up between the flue and the furnace cover.
The hydraulic system adopts a combination valve and an energy storage device.
The upper and lower ends of the electrode lifting cylinder are insulated for protection. All the insulation at both ends of the high-pressure oil pipe is designed to prevent electrode deflection. Insulation is set on the furnace cover, platform and electrode guide device, and the electrode guide device.
All pipelines are equipped with pipeline trenches for easy maintenance. The gate valve adopts stainless steel screw rods to increase its service life. Each group of manifolds is equipped with 3 spare water routes. The manifold valve adopts stainless steel or copper ball valves, and the manifold return water route is reasonably laid out.
The furnace cover adopts a frame-type water-cooled structure, and the central area is made of non-magnetic material.
A water-cooled section is set between the second and third floors of the electric furnace flue to reduce the flue gas temperature.
