Ladle Baking Furnace

Ladle baking furnace, also known as ladle roaster, is a special equipment used for baking ladle, and a device used for baking newly built ladle and ladle before containing molten steel. 

Its main function is to remove the moisture and moisture in the ladle by heating to ensure that the ladle can be kept dry and stable when it is filled with molten steel, so as to improve the quality and production efficiency of molten steel.

Furnace Body

The body of a ladle furnace, usually made of high temperature resistant material, capable of withstanding high temperatures and the weight of the ladle.

Heating System

Generally, burners or other heat source equipment are used to heat the inside of the furnace body to achieve the purpose of baking the ladle. The heating system can be adjusted as required to control the baking temperature and time.

Control System

Used to control the operation of heating system and the baking process. The control system can monitor the temperature inside the furnace in real time and adjust the power or working time of the heating system as required to ensure that the ladle can be evenly and fully baked.

Auxiliary Equipment

Such as induced draft fan, flue, etc., used to discharge smoke and waste gas inside the furnace body, and keep the baking environment clean and safe.

Working Principle

The working principle of the ladle furnace is based on regenerative combustion technology. During the baking process, two burners work alternately. When one burner burns, the other burner discharges the burning smoke. The discharged flue gas generates heat exchange when passing through the heat storage body, so that the heat storage temperature rises and the flue gas temperature drops. Then it is reversed by the reversing valve, the other burner begins to burn, and the previous burner discharges the burning smoke. In this way, the ladle can be baked by alternating operation.
